What is an eSIM? +
A digital SIM built into your phone. Instead of inserting a plastic card, you scan a QR code and the data plan downloads in about a minute. Your regular SIM keeps working for calls and texts.
When should I install it? +
Install it at home over Wi-Fi a day or two before you travel. Most plans only start counting days when you first connect to a network at your destination; each plan page shows exactly when validity starts.
Does my phone support eSIM? +
Most iPhones from XS/XR onward, Google Pixel 3 and newer, and recent Samsung Galaxy S, Z and some A models do. Your phone must also be carrier-unlocked. Dial *#06# and look for an EID, or see our compatibility page.
Will my physical SIM still work? +
Yes. Your eSIM is added as a second line. Keep your home SIM on for calls and texts, and use the eSIM for data. WhatsApp and iMessage keep your number.
Can I use my eSIM for hotspot? +
Yes, on most plans. Personal hotspot usage counts toward your data allowance.
What if something goes wrong? +
Write to support@arrigo.app. If your eSIM was never delivered or cannot be installed because of a problem on our side, you get a full refund.
